Your bot

What your bot does for you

Asks you first: “Want me to set up Wave for your bookkeeping now? (yes/no)” No yes means it stops.
Makes your Wave account at waveapps.com. The Starter plan is free.
Explains the Pro plan ($19 a month or $190 a year, checked Oct 25, 2026). Pro adds automatic bank imports and sorting. Asks before you upgrade.
Connects your business bank (you sign in to the bank in the pop-up). Wave's bank link is read-only. It can't move money.
Connects your payment processor when you have one (Stripe works through Make.com on Pro).
Sets up simple categories: sales, fees, software, supplies, ads.
Turns on the weekly bookkeeping routine (Mondays 9 AM).

What you do

Sign in to your bank in the pop-up.
Check the categories.

Good to know

The routine only reminds you and drafts categories for you to check. It never moves money.
