How to share a family Google Calendar with Grok Bot
Connect Google Calendar (listed as a connector in Grok Bot 101), then tell your Bot which calendars it only watches and the one family calendar it may write to after you approve.
Steps
- In Google Calendar, make one shared family calendar and share it with each parent's Google account.
- Connect Google Calendar to Grok Bot. Grok Bot 101 says you can connect more than one account per service, so each parent's account can be connected.
- Tell the Bot: watch work and school calendars for conflicts; write only to the family calendar; propose every event first.
- Ask for a test: "What's on tomorrow across all calendars?"
Watch vs write
- Watch: work calendars, school calendars, a co-parent's shared calendar.
- Write (after your yes): the family calendar only.
The changelog says all-day calendar events stay on the right date and Bots check your other calendars before saying an event is missing (v0.70.2).
