Grok Bot and Alexa, honestly
We get asked this a lot, so here's the straight answer: there is no Alexa connector for Grok Bot in xAI's official materials, and Grok Bot can't talk to your Echo directly.
There is a bridge. Grok Bot routines can start from a webhook (changelog v0.21.0: routines get their own Webhook URL and key). IFTTT lists an Amazon Alexa service and a Webhooks service that can make web requests. In principle, an Alexa trigger in IFTTT could call your routine's webhook. Whether it fits you depends on which Alexa triggers IFTTT offers on your plan, so check IFTTT's Alexa page first.

- Kick off a Grok Bot routine from an IFTTT applet
- Keep the family shopping list in a Google Sheet instead of Alexa
- Use Grok's own voice mode for hands-free questions
Why it matters
Alexa is in a lot of kitchens. Knowing where it stops saves you an evening of fiddling.
